Your MettleCI license is embodied in the license key file (typically named mettleci.lic) which Data Migrators issues you with, and is valid for different periods ranging from one month (for trial customers) to one or more years for paid customers.

Trial Customers

Trial licences are self-provisioned by authorised customers on the MettleCI software website and are valid for 30 days from the date of generation.

For this reason it is best to download and install your MettleCI trial software before requesting generation of your trial license, which will help you maximise your productive access to the platform.

Data Migrators Customers

Paid customers will receive licenses from their Data Migrators account manager. The license will be valid from the agreed date upon which Data Migrators generate and supply your license file, and will be valid for the duration stated in your subscription agreement.

IBM Cloud Pak Customers

Customers who are using mettleCI via an IBM Cloud Pak entitlement are provided with a license dated 31-December-2099. The duration to which you are entitled to use MettleCI under this arrangement should be discussed with your IBM representative.
