Does MettleCI run on Windows or Linux?

MettleCI is written mainly in cross-platform Java (Important Note: MettleCI requires a co-resident, non-IBM JRE v1.8).  The only dependency MettleCI has on Windows is for the components which deliver the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment functionality.  The automated MettleCI Incremental Deployment Plugin (which has both command line and native Atlassian Bamboo interfaces)  needs to perform a DataStage compilation which due to Information Server limitations requires access to a Windows-only client installation (dscc.exe).  This means that the MettleCI Incremental Deployment plugin needs to reside on a Windows machine with a DataStage client installed.  Every other component of MettleCI can reside on your choice of Linux or Windows.
