(v4.1 2) Unable to find executable ‘dsadm.exe’

Symptom

When attempting to run a s2px analysis command you receive an error with a message similar to Unable to find executable 'dsadm.exe'.

Cause

The relevant ds.client.path line is commented out in your config.properties file (described here).

Note that this troubleshooting article is referring you to the config.properties file which affects the behaviour of your MettleCI Command Line Interface.

This should not be confused with the config.yaml file drives the behaviour of your s2px commands.

Solution

Edit your MettleCI config.properties file to ensure the correct ds.client.path value is set.

  • On Windows edit the file as described here.

  • On unix edit the file as described here.
