Description

Identifies Hashed Files stages using a SELECT clause.

Issue

S2PX does not automatically propagate the SELECT clause from Hashed Files to the DRS stage used to replace them. This is because:

  • Comprehensive research of IBM customers shows that the use of SELECT clauses within Hashed Files is extremely rare, and

  • The syntax of the SELECT clause would need to be adapted from the existing UniVerse syntax to that of the database technology underlying the DRS stage, so manual intervention would be unavoidably be required.

Actions

The converted jobs containing the DRS stages relating to the Hashed File stages reported in this query will need to be modified to add a SELECT statement appropriate for the target database technology.
